Weasels And Spinely Things Extradition Department

Wasted was first formed during the 1950's when the Spinely One's were most well known. It began as just a small transatlantic department, receiving it's funding from the UK and USA. However, as other major countries began to emerge, they too were caught up in the hysteria surrounding the Weasels, and began co-funding WASTED, or SPECTRE as it was then known. Not much is known about the organisation sine 1973, when it was removed from all public records. However, anti-Weasel operatives have been observed conducting surveillance operations in ex-Weasel nests. We know that all the governments who currently fund WASTED are unaware of the department, and that they are commanded by a man known only as Nick Steed. If this name is true or an alias, we cannot say. WASTED is based somewhere near Bristol in the UK, although they have bases around the globe. Their original orders were to capture the Spinely One's, but this no longer seems to be their objective, and the Weasels can only assume that WASTED want to control the mystic power that the Weasels hold.

Only one more item is known about WASTED, during the early 1980's they experimented with Artificial Intelligence, and succeed in creating electronic life. Before the Weasels managed to stop their hideous plans, they planted microchips in 1 million lampposts around the world, for the purpose of surveillance and mind-control.
